Scholarship Program 2012-2013

Punya Foundation is a not for profit charity based welfare forum registered in South Australia. The foundation operates on the principles of universal declaration of human rights with the vision of "seeking justice through education and empowerment". It operates without inclination to any religion, culture, ethnicity, caste and gender. This video shows the working modality of Punya Foundaiton. It highlights the selection process of the vulnerable students for the scholarship program of year 2012-2013. The video speaks the determination the volunteers show to make the selection process fair, transparent and professional. The primary aim of this video is to reach to our donors and to inform them that their contribution has reached to the deserving children. Secondly, the video is intended to bring awareness regarding the difficulty faced by children to continue with their education. Finally, the Foundation aims to reach many potential donors to reach many such vulnerable children and expand our welfare services through education and empowerment. Partners: Punya Foundation has made this video in collaboration with the Bhutan Media Society, Kathmandu. The Youth Village Bhutan has produced the material used in the video. The music is played by a visually impaired refugee artist. Camp management committee, school teachers, BRAIN Bhutan and CBO's have contributed in the process.
